Italian crane manufacturer Raimondi Cranes has appointed Patrick Gigante as commercial manager of North America and the Caribbean with the objective of activating nascent markets.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the commercial segment to add vitality to the North American market, and that of the Caribbean islands,” said Gigante. “Raimondi’s innovative engineering and design teams have introduced an expanded range of higher capacity cranes perfectly suited to the demands of the American and Canadian markets. Further, Raimondi has demonstrated readiness to adapt based on all-important client feedback; this is a rare attribute in a heavy lifting machinery manufacturer.”
Raimondi reported that Gigante has spent the last 16 years working in the tower crane sector and, as such, has an extensive professional network specialized in assisting international clients find cost effective, reliable cranes. Raimondi said Gigante’s expertise will be put to work strategizing new market entry and relationship development.
Gigante will report to Mauro Masetti, commercial director of Raimondi Cranes. Commenting on Gigante’s appointment Masetti said, “Patrick’s extensive history in the crane industry, specifically the tower crane segment in North America and across the Caribbean islands, will prove invaluable to Raimondi as we continue to scale. Together with Raimondi’s management, Patrick will be bringing our full range of tower and luffing cranes to the respective markets under his purview, while establishing a strong network of agents helping to invigorate the company’s market share.”
