In this video, United Crane and Rigging Corp. shows a 15-hour time lapse, working for the New York City Parks Department. The crane company unloaded six containers that were 22,000 pounds each from a trailer and set them on top of concrete posts. Lifting eyes were supposed to be on the top of the units, but when they arrived, the lifting eyes were not there. United Crand Rigging had to use its expert rigging knowledge to develop a plan to move the containers in place. With only a 1-inch clearance between each unit, the company had to get the rigging equipment it used out from in between the pieces once they were set.
