Empire Crane Co. has sold a 2017 Terex RT555 rough terrain crane to Keith Grimes Inc. in Bridgehampton, N.Y. The 55-ton rough terrain crane is equipped with a 110-ft. full-power, mechanically synchronized boom and three steering modes.
David Grimes, vice president, said the rough terrain crane upgrade will allow the company to take on larger jobs than it previously has. “Our new Terex greatly exceeds the limitations of our old crane when it comes to safety and maneuverability,” he added.
The rough terrain crane will be used primarily for marine construction, bulkhead, dock, and steel sheet pile installation.
