Terex Cranes announces a large order from Poland’s Crane Rental, including three new Demag CC 3800-1 lattice-boom crawler cranes, two Demag AC 220-5 all-terrain cranes, and a Demag AC 300-6 all-terrain crane. The new cranes are scheduled to be built and delivered over the next several months.
The 715-US ton-capacity Demag CC 3800-1 crawler crane at a 39.4-foot radius and has a 374-foot main boom. With the Superlift equipped, it can erect wind turbines up to 557.8 feet. It is easy to transport and can be quickly rigged on the jobsite. These units use the latest crane technology from Terex.
The five-axle Demag AC 220-5 and six-axle AC 300-6 all-terrain cranes feature compact dimensions. The 245-ton AC 220-5 crane has a main boom length of 256 feet and a maximum lift height of 325 feet. The larger 350-ton-capacity class AC 300-6 model has a maximum main boom length of 262.5 feet and maximum lifting height of 387 feet.
