US based rental company Maxim Crane Works has ordered 48 Potain top-slewing tower cranes, which are due to start arriving at its facility in Newport, Kentucky from May.
Chief operating officer Frank Bardonaro said: “At Maxim, we are committed to continuous improvement with an ever expanding fleet. That expansion wouldn’t be possible without the long, beneficial relationship we’ve had with Manitowoc Cranes. Potain’s dedication to manufacturing some of the most reliable tower cranes in the industry falls in line with our dedication to offering the highest-quality products and service to our customers.”
Potain/Manitowoc vice president sales Dave Hull added: “Maxim’s choice to expand its fleet with nearly 50 Potain cranes shows the value of our deep partnership. Maxim has made a name for itself by always delivering for its customers, so the choice to do that on a larger scale using Potain cranes really speaks to the value of our top-slewing cranes in the modern marketplace.”
