The company will offer an an expansive equipment fleet and services that include steel erection, rigging and millwrighting, heavy transport, steel fabrication, special projects, art and sculpture installation, amusement park ride installation, equipment rental, and more.
Superior Rigging & Erection Co. offers comprehensive equipment rental options including crane, forklift, tractor trailer and accessory equipment rentals. Crane rental features include hydraulic, lattice boom crawler, and truck cranes with mobile crane capacity up to 350 tons and crawler cranes up to 330 tons.
The company, which has been in business since 1952, also has a 30-acre site in Atlanta, Ga., which includes 92,000 square feet of warehouse space to store over-sized and weather-sensitive equipment, as well as stage equipment for upcoming projects. At its facility in Atlanta, 20,000 square feet of space is dedicated to shop fabrication and production of steel columns, beams, trusses, girders joists, and decking, as well as smaller iron, stainless steel, and aluminum items. About 12,000 square feet is used for office space.
