It’s like a real-life version of Bob the Builder, right here in central Wellington.
The NZ Transport Agency has released a new time-lapse video showing construction of the Buckle St underpass from the point of view of its diggers, trucks and cranes.
The video was created by Wellington photographer Stephen Patience who attached a GoPro Hero 2 camera to some of the machinery on site.
 The underpass is expected to open next year.
Once complete, a National War Memorial park will be built overhead in time for the Gallipoli centenary celebrations on Anzac Day 2015.
