German crane service provider Jaromin has added to its crane fleet with a Demag AC 250-5 all terrain crane. General Manager Olaf Jaromin is a fan of Demag and picked up his the new crane in person in Wallerscheid together with his wife Melanie. The AC 250-5 was handed over by Helge Prüfer, Terex Cranes sales manager, and Christian Kassner, senior sales manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
“Thanks to its compact design and its 70-meter-long boom, the Demag AC 250-5 is an extremely versatile machine, Jaromin said. “With it, we’re not only closing a gap in our fleet, but we’re also becoming more cost-effective for our customers and, accordingly, even more competitive. ”
The IC-1 Plus control system, which enables the crane to be safely operated with the outriggers extended in an asymmetrical configuration, is another characteristic that enhances the Demag AC 250-5 crane’s versatility. The AC 250-5 crane was able to put its advantages on display shortly after the handover when making its debut at a substation close to Essen.
