Dublin-based Crane Hire Ltd has bought a 750-tonne capacity mobile crane and is looking for work for it across the UK as well as in Ireland. The nine-axle Liebherr LTM 1750 9.1 is able to carry boom and outriggers on board and still meet UK and Irish road regulations.

The telescopic crane has a maximum lifting height of 143 metres with its full jib attached and can place loads out to a radius of 112 metres. Crane Hire director Jarlath O’Leary said: “The new 750-tonne crane is an excellent flagship to our already extensive crane fleet. The extended operating range, in height, weight and reach allows us to offer an enhanced service to our customers, here in Ireland and across the UK.â€
