As part of its #Howwedoit Series, Sarens presents a new documentary on how the 3,200-metric-ton SGC-120 giant crane is assembled. The heavy lift crane is the product of the combined engineering efforts of Sarens and its subsidiary, Rigging International from Alameda, Calif. The crane is designed to accommodate the heavy lifting requirements for refinery, oil and gas, mining, offshore platform and third generation components for nuclear power plants.
For the video, production crews filmed for more than 10 days with drone and ground cameras supported by four crew members.
