Phoenix Crane Rental’s pink 40-ton Terex crane Stella
Phoenix Crane Rental will be holding its Third Annual Crane Rodeo on Sun., Nov. 5, to raise money for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. The company, which owns the famous pink 40-ton Terex crane Stella, has raised more than $140,000 for breast cancer programs in Georgia through its sponsorship of It’s The Journey, producers of the two-day walk.
This year, Stella will be sponsored by insurance brokerage firm McGriff, Seibels & Williams with a $5,000 donation. The crane will feature the insurance company’s logo on the crane’s counterweight for a year. Anything raised above $5,000 will be donated directly to the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Last year, Phoenix Crane Rental brought in $14,879, and this year, it is aiming for $20,000. The 2017 Grantees list explains where the donations will be distributed.
