Bahrain based contractor Modern Mechanical, Electrical and Transporting has ordered six Demag and Terex All Terrain cranes.
The order includes one 60 tonne Demag AC 60-3, two 100 tonne Demag AC 100-4Ls, one 160 tonne Demag AC 160-5, one 220 tonne Demag AC 220-5 and one 40 tonne Terex AC 40/2L. The cranes will all be delivered over the coming months. Modern Mechanical said that that a major point that led towards the Demag cranes, were the long booms, combined with a compact chassis, which delivers greater maneuverability and flexibility on jobsites. The company already runs 15 Terex and Demag cranes in its fleet.
