US based crane rental group All Erection and CraneRental has pre-ordered 15 new Liebherr 90 tonne LRT 1090-2.1 Rough Terrain cranes.
The cranes, which feature a 47 metre full power boom will come fully equipped with auxiliary hoist and boom nose. A 10.5 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway option with up to 40 degrees of offset, tilting cab and Variobase outrigger set up system.
Hutton Strader of All said: “With Variobase, ALL can do what used to be impossible. Imagine having the outriggers fully retracted on one side and fully extended on the other, while still having the crane allow for full capacity when it swings to the extended side. The LRT 1090-2.1 can do that. The crane seamlessly incorporates forward-thinking safety features into a sleek, modern package. The flat deck, electrically extendable cab platform, and multiple ladders minimize the risk of fall injuries. Controls are intuitive and easy to understand. The attachment of the counterweight and installation of the jib are fully monitored by the crane during setup.”
“Safety will always be our number one priority and these features help the customer get the safest and strongest machine available in its class,”
