Manitex International Inc. has added Walter Payton Power Equipment to its PM knuckleboom crane dealer network. Headquartered in Riverdale, Ill., Walter Payton Power Equipment will provide sales and service for PM articulating cranes in the Midwest. Initial orders of PM cranes have been placed, with deliveries expected in the third quarter of 2017.
Walter Payton Power Equipment has five full-service facilities in Riverdale, Ill.; Lebanon, Ind.; Evansville, Ind.; New Albany, Ind., and Taylor, Mich. These locations offer new and pre-owned equipment, as well as factory trained parts and service specialists.
“The PM articulating knuckleboom offers a unique opportunity for us at Walter Payton Power Equipment to expand our crane distribution model to new industries and applications,” said Brian Lynch, general manager. “The commitment PM has made to a very substantial facility here in North America, with spares and inventory support in Georgetown, Texas, will enable us to maintain our commitment to the highest level of service for our customers.”
