Watertown, S.D. – (February 14, 2019) – In Charlotte, N.C., thousands of children sleep without a bed or on the floor every night. Providing beds and essential furniture to families transitioning into permanent housing is the mission of Beds for Kids, a 501(c)3 organization. In February, Terex Utilities team members took a break from their annual sales training to assemble new dressers for Beds for Kids.
“Each year, Terex Utilities team members seek to partner with the local community where we hold our annual sales training by assisting an organization serving people in need. One of our core values at Terex is citizenship – and reaching out like this allows us to work together to make a small difference in the lives of people who are struggling,” said Joe Caywood, Director of Marketing.
According to Beds for Kids spokesperson Kevin Warren, “We strive to serve thousands of children and their families each year. Without the support of our community, we would not be able to continue advancing our mission of providing beds and essential furniture to children and their families in need. We appreciate Terex and their help with these dressers.”
