An 11-strong fleet of Liebherr cranes is helping with construction on Istanbul’s largest housing project.
The cranes were supplied to Evora Istanbul’s main contractor Teknik Yapi Construction by Liebherr’s authorised Turkish dealer Atilla Dural. The fleet is being used as part of a rental agreement that is scheduled to last between six and eight months.
“We have our own fleet of Liebherr cranes, consisting of six units,†explained Taner Ozcan, Teknik Yapi’s project manager at the Evora site. “However, we needed the extra cranes and because of the fast construction schedule, and the diversity of lift capacities and requirements, we decided on a rental agreement for the units to be used on this site.â€
The Liebherr fleet consists of a combination of 132 EC-H 8 Litronics, 154 EC-H 6 Litronics, a 90 LD, and a 42 KR.1 crawler crane.
