Mexico owned and operated, Arrendo recently placed an order for four new Demag® all terrain cranes to keep up with the needs of its growing customer base. Included in the order is the newly introduced Demag AC 300-6 all terrain crane, two Demag AC 100-4L cranes, and one Demag AC 500-8 all terrain crane.
Arrendo will be the first company in Mexico to acquire a Demag AC 300-6, a 300 tonne (350 USt) capacity class, 6-axle all terrain crane. This new model includes several industry leading features that will help contractors lower operating expenses and improve efficiency. It delivers class-leading reach and strength with the ability to lift 15 tonnes (16.5 USt) when the 80-meter (262.5 ft) long boom is fully extended. The onboard IC-1 Plus control system further enhances this crane’s performance by providing real-time calculations of the lifting capacities and support for safe crane operations. In addition, the Demag AC 300-6 crane is fitted with a single engine with start and stop function to reduce idle times and total engine hours to help reduce fuel costs and maintain the crane’s residual value.
The two Demag AC 100-4L 100 tonne (120 USt) all terrain cranes included in Arrendo’s order are the most compact units in their class. They work well as in dense urban environments where other cranes would be completely out of their element. The larger 8 axle, 500 tonne (600 USt) capacity Demag AC 500-8 crane is also compact and has an enormous reach of 145.8 meters (478.3 ft) with a luffing jib.
Arrendo will soon be able to offer these new cranes alongside its already extensive Demag product line to contractors at its locations throughout Mexico. For more information about Arrendo’s crane inventory, visit http://www.arrendogruas.com .
