A brand new Demag AC 300-6 all terrain crane was added to the fleet of Mannheim-based crane service provider Gräser-Eschbach in July 2018, the first crane of this type on the German market. “For us, the AC 300-6 is not only one of the newest but also one of the best and most powerful cranes in the 300-tonne class. Above all, its high lifting capacity of 15 tonnes with a fully extended main boom length of 80 meters makes it the perfect crane for our company,” explains Managing Director Frank Eschbach, who personally took delivery of the crane from Terex Cranes Sales Manager Michael Zieger in Zweibrücken.
“And we regard the fact that it is only 120 km from our branch in Mannheim to Zweibrücken as a fundamental advantage for our business relationship with Terex Cranes – the short distance combined with the fast service of this manufacturer made our purchase decision even easier”, says Frank Eschbach, explaining further reasons for his purchase decision.
Based in Bad Schönborn in south west Germany, Eschbach was established over over 70 years ago and belongs to the Gräser-Eschbach group. The company has a fleet of over 35 cranes with capacities ranging from 30 to 500 tonnes.
