SINGAPORE – A crane at a construction site of an upcoming executive condominium in Punggol toppled over on Tuesday evening.
Although a worker sustained minor injuries, there were no fatalities, a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) spokesman said.
The incident took place at the Ecopolitan executive condominium worksite along Punggol Walk.
A Straits Time reader had sent in dramatic photos of the accident, which showed workers assessing the damage.
The property is being developed by Qingjian Realty. The company had contracted Qingdao Construction at that particular worksite, said the MOM spokesman.
All lifting work has been halted and MOM investigations are ongoing.
