JANUARY 22, 2016 – Crane Network announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire CraneWeb.com, a 6.5 year internet advertiser specializing in crane sales. The acquisition presents new opportunities for Crane Network to expand and serve a broader range of customers.
Founded in 2009 and located in New York City, CraneWeb serves more than 25,000 users each month, providing an easy to use platform for buyers and sellers to connect safely in a monitored environment. Crane Network is eager to welcome Nicole Sligar as a Business and Marketing Manager to the team, bringing years of experience to the table. CraneWeb.com will continue operations as a Crane Network company and site functions should not be affected.
Crane Network and CraneWeb share many common customers that will be able to realize value from the acquisition. Advertising partners already leveraging CraneWeb technology will be able to benefit from the added breadth of capabilities in the Crane Network platform.
Clint Wood, Director of Operations at Crane Network, stated, “We look forward enthusiastically to making long-term investments in pursuit of revitalizing Crane Network by incorporating elements from CraneWeb.com. CraneWeb’s inclusion into our collection of companies will benefit from our financial strength. We plan to build the business on multiple dimensions, thereby regenerating the power of the brand with both our advertising partners and consumers worldwide.â€
