Crane and heavy haul company Belger Cartage Service has named Evelyn Craft Belger its new president and CEO.
She replaces C. Richard Belger, who served as president and CEO for 30 years, following his father and grandfather.
Craft Belger joined the company in 2009 as vice president and chief financial officer. Before that she served as interim division manager for the company’s Kansas City crane and heavy haul business. She has more than 10 years experience in commercial banking and 16 years in non-profit leadership positions in Memphis, Tenn., and St. Petersburg, Fla. She also directs the Belger Arts Center in Kansas City.
Belger has been headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., since 1919. It has six locations throughout the Midwest, including Wichita.
