Registration is now open for LiftEx 2017, the U.K.’s only exhibition and conference dedicated to overhead lifting and working at height. The event takes place at Telford International Centre on November 29-30, and will provide attendees with a unique insight into the latest developments across these vital sectors.
Now in its 13th year, LiftEx combines a free-to-attend trade exhibition featuring about 100 leading suppliers with a one-day conference that brings together a lineup of expert speakers.
LiftEx also incorporates Innovation Fast Pitch, where a succession of exciting new products, services, and applications will be introduced to the audience in a rapid-fire format. Visitors can then vote to determine which one walks away with the coveted Innovation Fast Pitch Award.
LiftEx is organized by LEEA, the leading representative body for the lifting industry with over one 1,000 member companies worldwide. The event attracts a diverse range of professionals with a shared interest in overhead lifting and work-at-height, providing networking opportunities that includes a drinks reception and dinner dance on the evening of November 29. For the first time, this will be open to both members and non-members.
Announcing the association’s ambitious plans for LiftEx 2017, Christine Littlewood, marketing manager for LEEA, said: “Lifting plays a critical role in a truly diverse array of manufacturing, extraction, and logistics industries. LiftEx offers anyone responsible for ensuring safe, legal and efficient lifting operations the chance to meet leading suppliers, industry experts and fellow professionals – all under one roof. The event has grown every year since its launch in 2005, and once again, we have worked hard to enhance the visitor and delegate experience in 2017. We are particularly excited about the line-up of speakers planned for the conference, and the extended networking opportunities now available to members and non-members alike.”
