German crane and haulage company ESB Kranverleih has taken delivery of a new 200 tonne ‘flagship’ Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The LTM 1200-5.1 features a 72 metre main boom and offers a maximum height under hook of 98 metres with its bi-fold swingaway extension. The company said rising demand for a larger crane coupled with full order books for its 100 tonne LTM 110-5.1 contributed to the purchase of the LTM 1200-5.1. The new crane will be used for assembling prefabricated components and for moving machinery and equipment in the upper load capacity range.
ESB Kranverleih managing director Karl Engeser, said: “Liebherr provides the best service in the industry and its Biberach factory is just around the corner from us. The very fair sales pitch and good advice we receive also mean that we will remain a Liebherr customer.”
Established in 1981, ESB Kranverleih Transport and Hebetechnik is based in Mittelbiberach, southern Germany. It operates a fleet of 11 Liebherr mobile cranes previously topped by a 100 tonne LTM 110-5.1.
